House music is alive and well
The dance music scene is growing at a rapid rate. Many of the top DJs are now being recognised with awards, album sales in the US and sell out arena tours. The biggest genre in electronic music has to be house music. This style is filling clubs night after night all around the world and is even creating dedicated destinations for dance music like Ibiza. Some of the bigger DJs are beginning to cross over into more mainstream pop releases which is gaining the genre more attention than evere before. Venues are unwilling to make enough room for a full band these days so a DJ is the obvious choice to create a vibe and provide as much space for patrons as possible. People love to dance and electronic music is giving people that opportunity. Clubs are opening up in all shapes and sizes but the one common feature is the ability to fit a DJ and get people dancing.
