I Got Registered
I am a bookkeeper, and I was very good at doing BAS. I wanted to keep doing them, but I knew to be in keeping with the new law, I had to register to become a BAS agent. It was very easy to do. I just went to the Tax Registry Board and filled out the requisite form. Now that I have registered, I can continue to provide services that I have provided in the past. It is easier on my clients, since they do not have to switch bookkeepers or retain my services plus the services of someone else to get everything done.
