Experiment With Milk In Jamaican Recipes

Milk is good for both children and adults, especially for children. If fresh milk is difficult to obtain, dried milk may be substituted. Dried skim milk is good, and is not fattening, a special bonus in case of weight problems in the family. As a result, an effort should be made to include milk into your Jamaican Recipes.

If the dried skim milk seems a little too thin, a little canned milk may be added to make it taste more like full-cream milk. Skim milk is also a bargain and contains as much protein as whole milk. In fact, nothing is missing from skim milk except the fat, and most people get too much of that anyway. Experiment with the various kinds until you find one that suits you and your family.
