The Bird Got The Engagement Ring
I think my co-worker Sam has the funniest proposal story I’ve ever heard. He went all out in planning everything, down to the last detail, for the time he would pop the question. He packed a beautiful picnic lunch and took his girl up the canyon to a very secluded spot. The food was perfect, the weather was perfect, the mood was perfect. After their meal he held her in her arms and told her how much he loved her and would she please marry him. As he pulled out the shiny engagement ring, a bird swooped down and snatched it out of his hand and flew away with it. Lucky for Sam, his sweetheart said yes anyway.
