We were a host family
When my school said that they needed host families for foreign exchange students I begged my parents to allow us to be a host family. I was so excited at the opportunity to have someone from another country come and live with us. My parents agreed and we went through all of the paperwork and interviews that were necessary. We had Gia come stay with us for a little over a month. She did not speak English so I had to do an English to Spanish translation of everything my family said to her. She had a lot of fun and said she really liked staying with us.
