Protected Holiday Home

While I really would love to be in the sun from sun up to sun down, I know that it is not the best for my skin and especially bad for the kids to have that much exposure. We are looking for a Taupo Holiday Home that is close enough to the beach and may even have a pool but have a protected area where we do not have to be in the direct heat from the sun. I would like to have a house that has an awning or even a sun room of some sort to take advantage of.
