My favourite flower
Last year my husband surprised me with a trip along the Garden Route as I had never yet been to this part of the world. We hired a vehicle from george car hire and planned our trip to the floral Kingdom of the Cape. I was surprised to find out that there are over 8 500 plant species growing in this area, and only 68% of them occur in South Africa. My favorite flower is the Protea which is often found in and amongst many other types of Fynbos. Unfortunately I wasn’t able to pick any as they are protected, but I did however manage to take lots of photographs.
